Setting Up Your Account

After completing your purchase, you'll receive an email with your account credentials. This guide will walk you through accessing your account and configuring essential settings.

Step 1: Find Your Welcome Email

Check your inbox for an email from EGPHP with the subject "Welcome to EGPHP - Your Account Details". This email contains:

  • Your EGPNL control panel login URL
  • Username and temporary password
  • Server IP address
  • Nameserver information (if applicable)
Tip: If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk folder. Add noreply@egphp.com to your contacts to prevent future emails from going to spam.

Step 2: Log In to EGPNL

1

Access the Login Page

Go to the EGPNL URL provided in your welcome email. It will look like https://your-server.egphp.com:8443 or similar.

2

Enter Your Credentials

Use the username and password from your welcome email. These are case-sensitive, so enter them exactly as shown.

3

Complete First Login

On first login, you may be prompted to change your password. Choose a strong, unique password.

Step 3: Secure Your Account

Security is important. Here's how to protect your account:

Change Your Password

If you haven't already, change your password immediately:

  1. Go to Account Settings in EGPNL
  2. Click Change Password
  3. Enter your current password and new password
  4. Click Save Changes
Security Best Practices:
  • Use a password with at least 12 characters
  • Include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
  • Never reuse passwords from other sites
  • Consider using a password manager

Update Contact Information

Ensure your contact details are current so you receive important notifications:

  1. Navigate to Account Settings
  2. Update your Email Address
  3. Add a Phone Number for account recovery

Step 4: Explore Your Dashboard

Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the EGPNL interface:

  • Dashboard: Overview of your hosting status and resources

  • Databases: Create and manage MySQL databases
  • SSL: Install free SSL certificates
  • File Manager: Upload and manage website files
