Setting Up Your Account
After completing your purchase, you'll receive an email with your account credentials. This guide will walk you through accessing your account and configuring essential settings.
Step 1: Find Your Welcome Email
Check your inbox for an email from EGPHP with the subject "Welcome to EGPHP - Your Account Details". This email contains:
- Your EGPNL control panel login URL
- Username and temporary password
- Server IP address
- Nameserver information (if applicable)
noreply@egphp.com to your contacts to prevent future emails from going to spam.
Step 2: Log In to EGPNL
Access the Login Page
Go to the EGPNL URL provided in your welcome email. It will look like https://your-server.egphp.com:8443 or similar.
Enter Your Credentials
Use the username and password from your welcome email. These are case-sensitive, so enter them exactly as shown.
Complete First Login
On first login, you may be prompted to change your password. Choose a strong, unique password.
Step 3: Secure Your Account
Security is important. Here's how to protect your account:
Change Your Password
If you haven't already, change your password immediately:
- Go to Account Settings in EGPNL
- Click Change Password
- Enter your current password and new password
- Click Save Changes
- Use a password with at least 12 characters
- Include uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
- Never reuse passwords from other sites
- Consider using a password manager
Update Contact Information
Ensure your contact details are current so you receive important notifications:
- Navigate to Account Settings
- Update your Email Address
- Add a Phone Number for account recovery
Step 4: Explore Your Dashboard
Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the EGPNL interface:
- Dashboard: Overview of your hosting status and resources
- Domains: Add and manage your domain names
- Databases: Create and manage MySQL databases
- SSL: Install free SSL certificates
- File Manager: Upload and manage website files
- Email: Create email accounts on your domain
