Five things to have ready before you write to support
The articles above solve most problems. When one does not, these five details are what turn a message into an answer.
The exact address and the exact message
Copy the full page address and the error text word for word, or take a screenshot. "Something is broken" cannot be diagnosed; "500 on the checkout page since ten o'clock" can.
What changed just before
A plugin update, a PHP version switch, a DNS edit or a new certificate: most faults start within hours of a change. Say which one, even if you think it is unrelated.
Whether it fails for everyone or only for you
Try another network or device and a private window. A page that fails only for you usually points to a cache, your local network, or a DNS change that has not reached you yet.
The HTTP status code
A status code narrows the search: 500 is an error inside the site, 404 means the address is wrong, and 502 or 503 mean the server behind the page did not answer. In a terminal, curl -I followed by the address prints it.
Which plan or domain it is about
Name the plan or the domain, so the answer starts from your setup instead of a round of questions.
