Before You Cancel

We're sorry to see you go! Before canceling, please consider:

• Need help? Contact support - we may be able to resolve your issue
• Cost concerns? Ask about available discounts or downgrades
• Taking a break? Consider suspending instead of canceling

How to Cancel

1. Log in to your EGPHP Dashboard
2. Go to Services or My Products
3. Find the service you want to cancel
4. Click Manage or the service name
5. Click Request Cancellation
6. Select your reason (optional but helpful)
7. Choose cancellation timing:
   • End of Billing Period: Keep access until your current term ends
   • Immediate: Cancel right now
8. Confirm the cancellation

What Happens When You Cancel

End of Billing Period

• Your service continues until the current period ends
• No further charges will occur
• You can still use all features until expiration
• Data is kept during this period

Immediate Cancellation

• Service is terminated immediately
• Website goes offline
• Email stops working
• Data deletion process begins

Data Retention

After cancellation:

• 0-7 days: Account in grace period (may be reactivatable)
• 7-30 days: Data scheduled for deletion
• After 30 days: All data permanently deleted

Cancel Domain Registration

Domain cancellation works differently:

• Domains cannot be "canceled" - they simply expire
• Disable auto-renewal to let the domain expire
• No refunds for domain registrations
• Consider transferring to another registrar instead

Disable Domain Auto-Renewal

1. Go to Domains in your dashboard
2. Select the domain
3. Turn off Auto Renew
4. Domain will expire on its expiration date

Cancel Additional Services

SSL Certificates

Free SSL (Let's Encrypt) is included with hosting - no separate cancellation needed. Premium SSL can be canceled through the SSL management section.

Email Addons

Additional email packages can be canceled separately without affecting your main hosting.

Reactivation

If you change your mind:

During Billing Period

1. Go to your service management
2. Click Cancel Cancellation Request
3. Service continues normally

After Cancellation (Grace Period)

1. Contact support within 7 days
2. Request reactivation
3. Pay any outstanding balance
4. Data may still be recoverable

After Data Deletion

You can create a new account, but your previous data cannot be recovered.

Refund Eligibility

Cancellation doesn't automatically mean a refund:

• See our Refund Policy for eligibility
• Refunds typically available within 14 days of purchase
• Domain registrations are non-refundable
• Setup fees are non-refundable

Close Entire Account

To close your EGPHP account completely:

1. Cancel all active services first
2. Ensure no outstanding invoices
3. Go to Account Settings
4. Click Close Account
5. Confirm with your password

This deletes your account permanently.
